street glow is the **** for all your neon stuff. Go to circuit city and get 4 of the 9 inch neons for the interior. You have to get the ones with the external transformer(those are the super bright ones). And you will have to drill to mount two of them under the dash. And for the rear i just zip tied them to the bottom of the seat. Those all look really nice and you cant see them at all. For the exterior i had to drill into the bumber for the front and rear bars and for the sides i had to drill into the long thin metal piece that goes all the way along the side of the car. I can take pics for you if you want. Just to let you know you will get flamed for starting this thread but who cares about those people. If you want me to i can go take some pice of the places where i mounted my tubes for the interior and exterior. And the switches i have the perfect spot for those im pretty sure the 04' have them. Oh yea and for my underbody i got an optix kit by street glow. Looks pretty good if you ask me.

Hope it all turn out ok.

well i just put 2 neons under my dash and 2 LEDs in the center airvents, i have the switches on the little coin tray in front of the fuse box...by ur knee...i drilled into it...so when its closed i can flip the switches haha.

i just ziptied the neon tubes to any thing that was possible...ziptied the wires together and its a nice clean look...can't see any wires at all unless u stick ur head under the dash.

tomorrow....im gonna be putting my ps2 in my car, with a 4" neon behind my TV and 2 more neons under the seats. i have a green neon tube in the trunk instead of the stock light haha, i am thinking of putting a neon in the engine bay as well...like right behind the front grill maybe...or attach it to the hood...but when i turn it on it'd light up the grill...than i could pop the hood and it'd be on the hood itself so i dunno lol, anyways lata...

its fun...but a PITA to! unless ur small and can wiggle in and out of tight spots haha

Be careful not to bend the neon tubes at all. I broke a whole set that way.

If you're going to install an underbody kit it depends on which kit you get, but probably the biggest pain is running the wires and keeping the rear tubes wires from getting melted from exhaust pipes and the muffler. (Optx Blueline Series you can bypass running past the muffler since it basically uses stereo wire and doesn't have to plug into the end of another tube, but the multi-color sets have to form a circuit with the tubes, plugging into each other) Besides that it's pretty simple

Actually if you could take some quick pics as to where you did the mounting that would be really great... thanks a lot

All I did was drilled them under the seat. I have two facing my side and the passanger side floors then the other two facing the back seat floors. I have the L.E.D. All four of my tubes are under the seat. Worked out good. It's connected to the fuse box. I put the switch next to the dimmer switch.

i just did my front neons this afternoon. Had a crappy old 15" (I think) left over from my computer mods and a 10" I snagged for cheap at pep boys. I wanted to keep wiring to a minimum so i bought a cig lighter powered fuse box with 3 +- terminals on it. I velcro'd the box under my dash near the gas pedal and ran a short wire up under the driverside and velco'd the 10" under there. I put the 15' one on the upper part of the floor board on the passenger side and only had to use the "teeth" side of the velcro because it "bit" into the floor carpeting. All together cost me about $27.00 and the only sign of the neons is the cig lighter plug for the fuse box. Just checked it out tonight ahd it looked sweet. I'll put some pics up probably tuesday when i've got the time. Best part is that even when you're looking for the neons you can't find them! All you see is the light

damn .. super old thread... but yeh .. if you connect one too many neons to your cig lighter plug you might blow the fuse.. just connect it directly to the main power
