i need help??????

hey guys i have decided 2 take off my window ventvisors, i was wonderin once i take them off there is gonna b some sticky **** that hold it on still stuck 2 tha car what would i use 2 get it off???? and how would i get it off? and any suggestions on how 2 remove window tint yourself instead of going 2 a shop? what steps and tools would i need? thanks alot guys!

first goo gone to remove sticky stuff. and would u sell them visors to me? and also for the tints u can go to walmart they sell tint removier spray. n ya that should be basic on how to remove n clean a window. if anythin else pm me or email me at sunquised@aol.com

I would recommend using something a little more safe than "Goo Gone/ Goof Off". Go to your local automotive store and buy a tar, bug, adhesive remover that's clear coat safe. Gunk makes one.

goo gone was safe for me after ur done usin it jus wash ur stuff wit sum soap n water. n if ur that cautious wax it. heh

goo gone is fine if you wash your car right after you use it. Otherwise it tends to eat through the clearcoat as previously stated.

Your answer was 2 posts from the top. It's like $3 for the bottle to remove tint. Your other option is take it somewhere and get it done by a pro. I hate when people keep asking the same question when it's already been answered.

Heres a free way to do it: Find a magnafying glass, wait for a sunny day, hold the glass at just the right angle and slowly melt the tint. Repeat on all tinted windows until desired effect is reached. Caution: May take hours or even days to complete.
I would think breaking down and spending the $3 would be the best way to go.
