Any way to remove bird poo residue??

Hey guys, I let my sister borrow my car for a week and when i got it back it was dirty and there was bird poo on it, particularly the hood. So i decided to wash it and when i was done, there was an outline of the bird poo on the hood. So i washed and cleaned that area again and waxed that area thinking it'll come off, but no. So i was wondering if there is any way to get this stuff off because every time i look at it, it drives me crazy!

try a mild hand glaze or buffing compound (CarBrite Workout 1500)

Try windex or Wd40 both are not to harsh as to damage the paint but you probably will wont to re-wax that spot just in case.

it doesn't have to be that brand...that is what I used to get when I ran a detail shop. Any good 1500 grit buffing compound will work just be sure to be gentle with it to avoid major surface swirls. Follow with a hand glaze product. I'll find you a website for some good stuff.

*edit- try http://www.carbrite.com/

If straight polish or rubbing compound doesnt work then you might have to try color sanding it with 2000/2500 grit wet/dry then buffing it out. Ive had to do this many times to damaged cars. Just tried fixing a car that had been egged but it went all the way through the clear coat, egg is nastier than bird droppings.
