Anyone have n e experience w/ LED Underglow kit???

I put one Eurolite kit on and I dont feel like its bright enough...

Anyone know how I can get it brighter? If I put another one will it be brighter.

I put one on the each side of the side skirt and one on the front and back bumper, right now there all in the middle, if I got the 2nd kit and put 2 on each section, think that'll make it as bright as NEON TUBES??

Lemme know what u guys think...im quite puzzled and dont wanna waste more money

 

get the plasma glow kit it is a lot brighter but a bit more money.PLus i dont think the led kits are brighter not for what you are trying to do

 

Airn't LEDs supposed to be brighter than neon? I had neons from Pep-Boys under my car and they were pretty bright

 

well IMO i've never liked LED's. from what i've seen, they burn out easily. they "claim" to be something like 1000+hours. but before you know it....one here, one there.... and so on. anyways as far as brightness goes. if you want something super bright, most places/people will tell you to double the kit up. put 2 kits on and it'll be bright. i've seen it done. it definately stands out more.

 

What color did you put on? Because if it Red, then the only thing you can do is double it up to make it brighter. LEDs do shine brighter, but do not forget they are directional. Colors like green, yellow, or blue shine brighter, because it is a brighter color. I have installed many of these. For example, I installed the Audiopipe - Pipedream Red LED kit on a car, and it did look nice...but I installed the Audiopipe - Pipedream Green LED kit on the same model of car...and it was sooooo much brighter. Personally, the neon kits are good for the money...but I like color-changing, speed, and pattern options in the LED kits.

I have the Varad LED kit on my car and I'd like to think that it shines pretty bright....I've never had neon but this is pretty good in my opinion.
My buddies Mustang has the Blue LED Varad kit, and I think that kaostic is right because his blue kit seems alittle brighter than mine but not a big deal, I think that both are pretty bright

how many tubes do u have on each side? are the short? where did u position em to get that much spread?? Mine do not spread as much as those!!

 

I just have a 48" tube on each side and 24" tubes front and back......Mine are positioned right on the underside of the side skirt....Kinda sucks cause you can see parts of the tubes fron different angles but nothing that I can't live with...

I also have a Varad LED kit, but I have the newer version of his. The Varads are the highest quality and highest price in the market. They are amazing man!!!

 

What's different from mine and your "newer, better" kit?? Do you have the ULX300 or the HLS48 kit cause those are the only two main kits and I have the HLS48....just wondering

I have the HLS48 kit but my control box is a little different with the set up cause urs is a few years old. But besides that, nothing else. The kit is sick though!!!

those pics that adamkean posted are not real so to say. My friend put Varad LEDs on his lancer and its as dull of s***! I bought some $80 Liteglows off of Ebay and they are the brightest that I have seen.

 

He has the most expensive ones too.

 

My a$$ dude. My Varads are the white kit and they are bright as *** man!!! Those pics posted up by adam are very very accurate. It actually looks like the stang has a double kit, but not quite sure. Adam has a single kit just like mine and i can vouge for how bright they are......
