by all mean howdydee, giuve it a go.
just remember what youve been told
and it doesnt matter how many coats you actually put on, the fact is that it doesnt really adhere that well, thats why it scratch.
and it pretty much came bad and all parts of the car which get some form of contact.
like arcangelite said, you can spray the plastics with just a normal paint.
the vinyl is what went worst, and on the seats it was bad from the start, all crusty and sh.ite

Go to Wal-Mart and get a gravity feed spray gun, air hose and compressor w/air tank. Then go to a body shop or paint store and price out the cost of whatever color paint you need. Practice...it isn't hard. Follow with a clear. Buff and wipe to shine. Great looking results. I had my eclipse interior color matched to the outside (Frost White).
Use Krylon Fusion. I used it about six months ago on my door handles just to kinda test it out, with no primer and no clear coat after and it still looks great and hasn't gotten any scratches
