I did mine over at my mom's house and she was like cool go for it. But my grandpa came over while I was finishing them up and kind of gave me the "that boy aint right look" when I told him what I was doing. I was like yup, that's what a college education gets you... well at least a partial one.

ive decided....i was gonna get SRS comps rims but instead of paying 1500 for rtims and tires. why not just buy a 2nd gen teggy. i mean i want a fast car. so i decided just to buy another car. and if i do anything to the lancer it cant cost more than 20 bucks. although i might buy an intake and thats it.

future plans = 2nd gen teggy LS,

future plan mods = flat black krylon paint job, ls/vtec conversion.

cant wait!
6 months till i get enough for the car.

That's funny about the paint. Put the money into a turbo for the lancer or if you want an even better option that the teg get an early 80's turbo Z, I had a 82 280 ZX turbo with t-tops that I paid 2,500 for when I got it, put some work into it and got $6,000 when I sold it. That's the kind of car you want.

nah i though about it. i can only afoord a car for 1500. and i love the 2nd gen DA's. and as far as a turbo for the lancer. i still wouildnt be laying down numbers that would make me happy. but with the LS and an LS/vtec conversion id be beating stock 3rd gen GS-R's and plus.......you know how sexy a flat black slammed 2nd gen with Mugen MF8's would be? oh my god!

oh and the paint job isnt that far off of an idea. i mean SPort Copmpact Car mag took a 6 month old blue STI and painted it flat black using krylon spray paint...looked amazing!

Make sure you pluged the harness to that one in. It's the kind of funny one that runs back to the top of the HL. That may be it. or the light just went kaput.

Not yet, It hasn't really rained here since I've done it. But I did go to the washtub today and got my car washed and there was no condensation so I figure they should be good.

yeah im gonna post them up in a little bit. i took like 20 pics of before and after and stuff. so ill make a new thread. also.....i noticed that on the blinker lens i guess it was how it was hard to take out...there is a smaller clip on the underside..much easier to take out. but actualy that doesnt need to be take out, just masked over. also...around that lesn there is a 1/4 inch lip. i masked around that lip in order to give the light an "angel eye" effect if you will...looks good to. il make a new thread once i upload and stuff

Yes, everyone here has heard about the condensation issue but if you make sure you seal them back up right you will not have that problem. Look at all the people who have done this mod with out any problems. And then look at the people who have had problems. All they do is put the HLs back in the oven and make sure the seals are back place correctly and their problems are solved.
