Soooooo, im entering my car in a show and shine which I believe i've mentioned b4, I was lookin at stuff to dress up my engine compartment (THE RRM VALVE COVER IS GONNA BE DELAYED, SO I HAVE TO DO OTHER STUFF IN THE MEAN TIME)

and the parts guy at mitsubishi recommended this hose sleeving kit, i wasnt sure so i jus told him to order it, but I took a look at it on the net and it looks pretty cool.

WHAT DO U GUYS THINK? Have n e of u guys seen it on n e cars and do u think it will flow good w/ the RRM red valve cover and the K-Bar (which is powder coated the same color red as the valve cover)

why didnt you just paint your valve cover?....takes like 3 hours and 6 dollars worth of paint...as for the sleeve kit...i would need to see it on beofre i say anythign

 

I dunno cause they get there stuff powder coated.

i can try to upload a picture of our engine bay later on. we have a red kit all over the damn engine. it really makes the bay pop. looks good.

 

I got some rrm silicone RED hoses for sale if your interested. They are already cut too!

 

I have the kit but haven't put it on yet. I am sure it will look good. It's just pulling off the lines and doing it thats a pain but after it's all done it will look clean and sharp. I'm going to do it sometime but I just have to work up the ambition to do it.

 

yeah i'm getting ready to order the rrm kit in a few minutes.. I gotta make it all pretty under there since there isn't too much performance stuff yet..

 

i got the rrm kit... but i wanted more hoses than that. my new hoses are coming in tomorrow i think

 

Yea, I got the RRM kit as well, there isnt that much there. Probably would have been better off jsut buying my own hose. I have seen long hose kits that come with three different sizes on ebay before.

 

just watch out for those cheap hoses that arent even silicone, they collapse after ten minutes of driving

 

Here's my engine compartment with the upper radiator line and front power steering line covered with the steel braiding.

 

I always thought grounding kits color matched to valve colors was hot.

 

I need one! who makes one for the lancer that is a direct fit?
