Pics of Brad's 09 Lancer GTS

I finally got a decent day to wash my car so I thought I would take some pics by the lake. Sorry for them being dark, this was the only time I could do it since we are gonna get more ugly weather for a while. Hope you enjoy.{thumbup} I've only done a few small mods. I want my car to still look pretty much stock but diff from the other Lancers in my area. Any feedback or comments would be appreciated(positive or negative)
And yes, I'm getting RA tails and RRM GRIP V2 Spring after winter.

Looking good...!

What's that over the filter?

ThunderOZ Nov 22, 2008 06:01 PM

I think it's like a water shield....

Thanks. It's a dry charger to keep water out. My local dealership suggested it so I won't get any hassles about warranty.

Yea but it's an SRI and you have no vents in your hood...
So water from where?

Yeah I love the Volk TE37 and I thought gold and blue would look good but I saw like 4 blue imprezzas today with gold rims so {thumbdwn} . I really like the TE37 in the ti-gunmetal color. I'm saving up to get those this summer hopefully.

Take the shield off... when u have to go to the dealership, but it back on.

mmartahus Nov 23, 2008 09:08 PM

You NEED to Tint those front windows, if not 5% at least 25-35%

I think mine at 15% front 20-25% rear from the lot.

brads09lancerGT Nov 24, 2008 04:49 PM

I don't think the tint on the front will work too well. My next door neighbor is a cop and he HATES me(I don't know why :D ). My fiancee has a civic and she had 35% all around and he gave her a ticket and an order to remove it(front) in 30 days. When he moves next year then I will tint them.

what a dick, but you need to get that thing dropped lol

After winter I'm getting the RRM lowering springs. Got the $ set aside for it already. I would get them now but it's a little hard to to spend most of a day in your driveway doing work on your car in the cold and snow:lol:
