Weight Limit

I'm about to travel 1000 miles, and i'm over 830lbs. My truck is no more. Is it dagerous? Should I dump some of the junk?

Check the load capacities. You should be able to find it in the owner's manual. And if you will take the challange make sure to use some good oil and DON'T abuse your car. Maybe 4krpm at the most and good luck with any steep hills.

Ah man, sucks your in New Orleans, its going to be hard on your suppension. I wouldnt recommend it, but under those circumstances - drive slow, and slower on turns. Watch your tires for wear and pressure. Give extra room for braking, and accleration will be hurting - so watch out on freeway onramps.
