Just wondering if the strut bars made for the Evo's would fit on the 03's...complete bolt on with no modification whatsoever..

 

they dont for the 02's. so im gonna go with no for 03's. i had some front upper and back upper struts from an evo, and the fronts needed modifying to fit, then they rattled the TB at low speeds and just sucked all around. and the backs needed modifing also. i still have the backs in, but i might take them out. and save some $$ for some RRM's and then a tie bar. but from my exp, no they wont fit.

 

IIRC the evo has a poiny where the (factory) front strut bar ties into the firewall of the car. If it is a aftermarket strut that utilizes this point, then no, it will definitely not fit

 

the back doesn't fit for sure. i got an evo one sent to me saying it would fit, and it's way off.

^ agreed, they are different. The fronts are spaced similarly but the regular Lancer needs a taller one to clear the throttle body. And the rear ones are completely different. So your answer is a simple no, they aren't interchangeable.
