lowering question

If i was to get only lowering springs for my 03 lancer, would it mess up the suspension in the long run and would it be worth it, because i dont want to spend a lot on coilovers.

i had progress springs. the noise, rough ride and uneven tire wear wasnt worth it for me to lower it 1.5 inches.

^^^^ you should definetly do a search, but since you started another thread i will throw you my 2 pennies. I have had the progress springs on my car for over two years and i have noticed a little noise, but the ride is not any more rough than it would be with other springs. the noise that i have encountered is definetly not a reason not to buy. I have also not experienced any uneven tire wear

I just got my tein's installed last week and i love them. as far as messing up the stock shocks, it's too early to tell but an alignment is almost a requirement after lowering

please keep it to like two threads a week, we would all appreciate it if u could use the HIGHLIGHTED search button and look for ur answers there... there is so much information on this site with probably hundreds of threads on lowering... welcome to evom, but plz dont post two threads in a week one on things that have already been discussed.
