Rota Subzero
Rota Subzero
I found a really good deal on some extremely lightweight rims. The Rota Subzero's are 17X7.5, and they weigh 14 lbs!!!! They also cost right around $550. Anyway my question is with them being 7.5 are they going to rub? And also what would be the biggest tires you can put on them.
Yeah, they're nice wheels. ILP Performance has them for $550 (assuming that's not the place you found them) and Smoktout has them in 18"s on his car (black with polished lip on silver OZ). Simply put, they look hot. At 18x7.5 they rub, but you may be able to squeak by rubbing with a shorter sidewall profile (assuming you're still at stock ride height). It's really hard to say though. Some people have gotten rubbing with 7.5's and others haven't. The only thing I can think of is their factory springs settled differently.
