stabilizer bars

I'm thinking about getting a rear stabilizer bar for for my 2002 ES
I'd just like to ask if anyone out there knows if there is a noticeable increase in handling and cornering performance?

I've also read that stabilizer bars will decrease comfort, but I've never
been able to find any straight answers if it will be to a significant or lesser degree? some people have said they only recommend getting a bar if I plan to go racing, while on some websites i've read only a tiny decrease in comfort!?!?!

i went from a 13mm to a 20mm rear sway bar on my subaru
it makes a HUGE difference. the car understeers less. it does get tail happy in the rain and snow though. there was no real decrease in ride comfort. it felt more controlled in the corners. it made the car very tossable and fun to drive.
