^^ solsonic is correct.

I've been pushing it hard into corners, and wen I say hard I mean hard. ive yet to encounter any problems. I'm mixed on it right now cause I also have an aftermarket sway bar which can effect my judgement of control and handeling

I got my springs today. What is the average cost to have them installed or you think I could do it myself. I know I need a spring compressor, what else?

If you've never done it before then get it done at a suspension or tuner shop. Otherwise you risk killing yourself (literally) if a compressed spring shoots out from its housing because you don't know what you're doing.

'08 lancer springs can be removed without a spring compressor. There is a small amount of preload on the rears, but only a couple of pounds. Just don't stick your face over the top hat when you unbolt it and you will be fine.
