18x7.5 38mm offset.

On 215 tires. Will it fit?

Also, can anyone explain the aspect tire ratio? Will there be a difference in going from 45 to 40?

Aspect is the % of width. It's how tall the sidewall is.

On a 215/45 tire, the sidewall is 96.75mm. On a 215/40, the sidewall is 86mm tall. You don't want to change the aspect ratio from stock because then the tires are a different size and your speedo will be way off.

Also, since you're cutting 7mm off the offset, are you sure they'll fit? They might be hitting the brakes. I'm not sure how small an offset you can use.

Thanks for the aspect ratio info.

Well, as far as the offset, that's what I'm trying to figure out too. I have no idea if they are going to fit. When I test fitted, they cleared the brakes fine. From my understanding, the lower the offset, the more the wheels just stick out? right?

When test fitting, I wasn't able to actually drop it and drive it around to see because I needed some different lug nuts. Stock wouldn't fit. What I actually was thinking of doing was just swapping the stock tires over.

I'm not sure. I BARELY understand offset, to be honest.

Sounds like you should be fine when you get the lugs sorted.
