Drop/Tire Question

Im another looking into the DC-5 Tenzo Rims... (Red and Black) but um, im going to have a 1.5" Drop all around and was wondering what kind of tire should work with no problem... I was thinking either 225/40R18 or 235/40R18

All input is greatly appreciated!!

those tires should fit fine. There is lots of room in the wheel wells...not so much width in the front (tight turning radius) but lots of room height wise.

i did read the post where someone said they had a 1.2inch drop with 235/40r18 on theirs.. and no rubbing what so ever. i was just worried maybe that extra .3" may come into play

It's possible. But it's a bad idea. It'll throw your speedometer WAY off. 205/60 is what you want.

If you put on those tires, you'll be over 7% off. So (just an example) when the speedo says 60 (97kph), your car will actually be moving about 88mph.
