Will this work?

just want to know if a 225/50/17 tire work on a 17x7 wheel? or will it affect my speedometer too much or wont fit?

well the recommended tire size for a 17 inch wheel is 215/50/17 and based on my knowledge and calculations, 215/50 and 225/50 is not big of a difference on the sidewall. i only want to know if the 225 mm width of the tire will fit the 7 inch width of the rim...

I have 215/50's on my 17x7 wheels, and the fitment is perfect! I didn't notice any speedometer reading difference.
