Aspect Ratio Question

I currently have the stock wheels and tires on my 08 lancer (205 60 r 16) but I just purchased some rims and now need tires. If I put 205 40 r 16 on my new set of rims, is that going to give me any problems?

I don't see an issue you will have a shorter sidewall is all. There will be a much larger gap though which might look bad.
