question about suspension setup

I was just thinking..i know that Evo 7/8 front strut and springs will fit on a USDM lancer. And i also know that they are overall stiffer, i dunno the exact numbers but that doesnt really matter right now. Now what if i were to install these BUT keep the rear suspension stock. Now dont criticize me on this cause i probably won't do it, but I was just wondering how this will affect how the car handles, in terms of oversteer and understeer and overall feel. ive talked to a couple people and some say oversteer, some say more understeer and i cant come up with a conclusion. anyone have a good answer to this? thx for your time!

From what I've learned about suspension over the past year, this would be a step in the wrong direction. If you recall, I've been griping about the understeer I got when I put the Teins on and 1 degree camber all around. Well, just to take part of that away, I race with the rear shocks full stiff and the fronts almost full soft. So bu putting firmer shocks up front and leaving anything softer in the rear, you will have a car that just doesn't want to turn.

Sorry, it was a great idea, though. Too bad it isn't the rear suspension that is interchangeable.

Heres my take, bad idea, you need the rear to be stiff on a front drive car to balance out the inherent understeer condition of front wheel drive....
