looking for a good tire...

Hey i need to replace my front tires but i wanna switch i've got some nitto's now but i want something better i'm running 215/35 18's and would like a tire that's good in wet weather without sacrificing a lot in dry weather .. also i seem to come in contact w/ a lot of road obstacles such as NAILS, BOLTS, and things of that nature id like a tire that's good (hard ....if there is such a thing) at not soaking up every single metal item i happen to run over

help a brotha out..

AVS ES100's do very well in wet and are fantastic on dry pavement. I was very happy with them.

I'm working under the assumption you after a decent to better than most performance tire. The higher the "performance level" typically the less wet performance you get. The ES 100 has good tread blocking to expunge water, and is a good stiff tire. I raced a season of Auto X on them and they were great even for racing. They also did pretty well in the one wet auto-x I raced. My times didn't get damaged anywhere near as much as most others there. So I put that on the tires.
