2011 lancer es "Hellaflush"

I have seen this before on previous lancers and i was wanting to know if i can hellaflush my lancer. As yall probably know the 2011 lancer es comes with 16's for stock but i was going too switch up to some 18s X 10.5 all around such as in this picture right here http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6234/...23b2674dd7.jpg the tires i am also getting are "235/40/18's federal 595's" now the question is am i going to have to do spring adjustments or am i going to have to buy coilovers because people have told me that the 2011 lancers can fit 18s but i will probably have to mess with the fenders cause the wheels will be wide

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer ES with 18s

I also have a 2011 lancer es and i put 18x7.5 wheels with 235/40 and yes it fits but you will need to tighten the suspension or do something otherwise your tires will rub. I took my 18s off and I am weighing out my options. let me know how it goes

What is tightening the suspension going to do, and will there be anything else I'm going to need to do and for sure will!

tightening the suspension is going to prevent the tires from rubbing in the rear. But I think you will need to buy coilovers to do this which will cost a grand at least. The other option I mentioned is that you can roll the fenders. This could cost you anywhere from a hundred to three hundred dollars. I just spoke with a mechanic that does the fender rolling often and he told me that there is a risk of cracking the paint. Apparently this happens with some cars and not others. Is there anyone on the forum that has rolled the fender of their 2011 lancer es??? and what was the results?

i have coilovers on mine with 19's no rub in the front i had to roll the back fenders a little so if you get coilovers with 18's you shouldn't have problems
