Offset and tire size question on a ES
Offset and tire size question on a ES
I am thinking of getting some wheels and the offset is 54.1 and the wheel is 17" everything Ive read on here makes me think there is to much of an offset but its also confusing to me since I have never had to deal with this I was going to go with the recommended tire size 205/45-17 but the offset issue just has me confused. I looked at what tirerack recommends and its 40mm which is no where close to what Im looking at. Any help please.

54mm seems awfully high. I would suspect contact with the caliper on that one. When in doubt contact a vendor that sells the brand/model wheels you're interested in to verify fitment. Tire size seems fine.
hey I apologize I did some more research and the guy was talking about the center bore being 54.1 which I believe the center bore for my lancer is 67mm so Im going to have to track down another set sorry.
