Front or back? My back brakes squeal all the time, but I still have the factory shoes in back which are known to do that. If it's the front check to see how much pad material you have on the front pads, you may have gotten down to the squealers already.

It's the materials used in your brake pads. Usually performance brake pads squeal like hawk hp+ or wilwoods.

I'm not sure what brakes are on it becuase they were on when I got the car. I want to say it's coming from the front. The front rotors look clean and shiney last time I took the front wheels. But the back look very corroded .

If it wasn't squealing when you got it, I'd check how much material is left on the pads. I think you have to have about 3/16 an inch or less of material before the squealer tabs start touching the rotor. If the pads are decent(tabs aren't touching the rotor) then it's just the material, like marcouxa said.

I'm thinking that replacing the break pads will be good . Should I get ceramic brakes which are about 50.00 or the oem ones which are about 30.00
Will the ceramic breaks increase the braking performance.

Ceramic perform better when hot but are less performant when cold. EOM rotors and pads is probably the ideal if you dont want any sound but not all aftermarket/jobber brakes squeal either so that's up to you.

When ceramic pads heat up from use their stopping ability gets better, and he's right, you run the risk of at least a little squealing no matter what you get. I don't know of any issues with the oem pads, but for the back brake shoes they switched materials due to squealing when applying the brakes. Another member mentioned that the oem pads are about $50 from the dealer, and the oem is semi-metallic material.

But is it possible that I only need one brake pad because it only comes from the front right of my car . Or should I just replace both .

If your pads make that kind of noise and your pads are to the metal you need a new set of pads (comes in pair for both sides) and 2 new rotors because your rotor surface is going to be destroyed where your finished pad is.
