Steering rack help

I have a 2008 lancer gts and I知 in the process of removing the power steering rack but I don稚 have the room to just pull it out the side like I was told would work. I知 not sure if I got the wrong info or if I have to move anything out of the way so any instructions or advise would be greatly appreciated thanks

Thanks for joining us on the boards

Hey, ive got a 2006 Lancer. Our service manual notes that the lower subframe has to be lowered to remove the rack

Now, im not saying there maybe a trick that can be done by removing an axle & ball joints etc, just noting what the Lancer manual notes
