2 questions, please help

Hay guys, please help with PM or post here, TX

1) For you guys with 17" or 18" and lowering, how is your ride quality now? Is it rough as hell? or hardly a difference?

2) I haven't fixed my camber yet on my stock OZ rims and rubber... I really don't think its that bad of wear-out difference... is it absolutely neccessary when I upgrade to 18s? How much did it cost you guys to fix your camber?

TX

i can answer the 2nd question..u won't need a camber correction kit unless u have lowered the car. if u just put on 18's it shouldn't matter too much. but if u've lowered it, it's definately recommended. your tires will last a helluva lot longer and won't go bald on one side.

i have 17's on a 205/40/17 tire and dropped on tein s-tech springs. i gotta admit, the ride SUCKS compared to stock. you feel every damn bump and its really bouncy. HOWEVER, the handling is SOOO nice. i had the rims on before the springs and the handling on bigger rims alone is considerably better. after i put the springs in, man did every curve on the road feel like a straight line . if you want a drop and big rims, be prepared to make such a sacrifice. my gas mileage got ALOT better after my drop and springs.. you know why? coz im forced to drive slower than usual .

as for your camber question.. like bobaab said, you WILL NOT need to have your camber adjusted unless you have lowered your car. more specifically, you will not need it adjusted unless you have more than a 1.8" drop [as said so by RRM]. but if you're just planning on slapping rims on without dropping your car, you wont need to worry about positive/negative camber.
