Handling is improved with almost any lowering spring, but only because of the lower center of gravity. The stiffer spring rate might also help a little. But the true gain in handling is in the dampeners, which most people keep stock. But you will notice a difference with just the springs, I promise you that.

In the world of handling, they say tires will make the biggest difference. Shocks come next, then sway bars, then springs, then every other kind of bar.

With those tires and the Eibach's you should get a fairly desent gain in your handling performance. As Urbanknight and others have said, the gain from just springs isn't as great as if you get a full tein kit or something of the sort. But yes, you will notice a difference. Post an update sometime and tell us what you think.

Haven't been on Teins so I cant comment on them. But I have Eibachs, 17 inch, 215/40 Wanlis w/Road race strut bars....personally..my car feels like it's on rails...no lie.
And my drop is NASTY. I got alot of compliments at E-town shootout.

The BFG g-force T/A KD (the dry version of the one you mentioned above) is the top tire in STS autocross. You will love the grip these things give! Not very good tire wear, and a bit expensive though.

Im currently running eibachs with the stock rims right now and the drop and handling is aight, not the best. bumps are a beeyach. I figure these will last me until i get the tein damper kit. I just hope my struts last. BTW Mikes car (aka coronalancer) looks NASTY and from what i'm seein he's supercharging it OHHH SH$T
