Tires

Since I made my mind up to keep my stock OZ rims I was looking different tires and came across some Michelin Pilot XCT V4. They are 205-55/15. What do you think of the tires?

I think 205 is too wide for the stock wheels. I could be wrong, but that's quite a difference in widths isn't it?

Any reason why the stock tires suck so much? I was always under the impression that yoko's were good tires....

It is a little bit wider than the stock 195-60/15, but over all it is still about the same height so it really won't change my speedometer.

I just checked www.discounttiredirect.com and the 205-55/15 is called a plus zero as an optional size.

Yeah...I wasn't talking about profile height. the first number is the width. Going from a wheel meant for 195 width tires to 205 maaay be too wide. I don't remember the width of the stock wheels though. Just giving a word of caution.

It's worth a shot, you only can learn from mistakes.
