Help! PLEASE! need wheel input

Aight so check it out......i wana buy me some wheels and tires for my car...

problem?

I have a fully stock Rio Red 02 Lancer ES....... and i dont know what kinda wheels would look good on it.

I was wondering if maybe you guys could help me out. i wanna get some wheels that are lightweight and still look badass on the Rio Red color. and as far as springs go im thinking of getting the TEINS but i have no clue on where to get them. i just want the springs.

So in short im looking for some lightweight rims that are at max 17's i want either 15's or 16's or 17's and im looking to spend up to 800 dollars wheels and tires, and i want them to be lightweight (no chrome) can you guys help me out?

thanks in advance

I would Suggest 17" Gunmetal rims, or Black Rims with a Chrome Lip.

You will need to buy hub center's and different lugs. Your Bolt Pattern is 4X100.

Tein-s springs will not work on your car because it is an ES but there are other springs on the market that are designed for your car.

Hope this helped.

You want 38 or 40mm offset, 17x7.5 max. Safest is 17x7. Mine that I'm putting on thursday are 17x7 38mm. They are gonna look sweeet.

And if those wheels are 300 each, don't waste your money. Mine are HOT and chrome and only 125 a piece. And the 2 you showed are pretty boring dude, but hey. Everyone else gets them, so if you want them go for it. It's your car after all.

LoL I hate giving this thread a bump, and this might be slightly off topic, but why is it the US Lancer crowd has so many "wheel emergencies" and the like? What's with the "Help! Please!" are your wheels about to fall off or something?

I was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering why people ask others what they like... it's YOUR car, not their's. Get what you like.

The SSR Comp is definitely one of the lightest and strongest wheels we carry. They do come with a price though. If that's a bit out of your range, the Kosei K1-TS is an inexpensive lightweight wheel. Available in silver, light grey, and orange.

11 lb for a 16x7 is great for racing. Popular rim in autocross and track events. Anyway, steer clear of that 43mm offset rim, you will probably rub the inside. Go for a 7" width and a 40mm offset.
