Unhappy t.o.b. question

ok heres my situation, i have a 2003 lancer es 5spd, and my clutch went out for the second time. my car has 30k on it, and now i bought an RRM stage 2 clutch and i want to know if i need to replace the original T.O.B.? my car has seen a fair amount of abuse I.E.ccasional racing 4-5 times a week and i drive fairly hard but only sometimes, but the dealer wants $105 for that part, so in your opinion should i get one?
thanks in advance,
pete

wait till you have money for t.o.b. and just buy a new one. Beats something happening and having to go in there to replace it later.

I think he is saying it's better to replace T.O.B. for $100.00 and not worry about it braking or something. Your transmission will be out allready so why not make sure everything is working right before putting it back on and paying for the labor.

Our TOB's suck, I heard mine making noise at about 5K. I can't hear it know with my header, exhaust, and sds. I'm over 50K now and it hasn't went. Rule off thumb, if you replace the clutch, replace the throw out bearing. Most clutch kits include them, I don't know why RRM's doesn't.
