I havent had this problem at all... Same shifter, no short throw.

I have seen tow pics, I am assuming with roadside.

Has anyone have updates to this? Are people just getting the dealer to fix this ghost problem and then going on their merry way and not informing others on this post?

I have no issues other than shifting into 1st sometimes, but either you have to let the synchos mesh up or let the clutch out and try again due to the teeth not matching up.

Anyways please someone report after a dealer fix. otherwise its a useless thread.

you do need to make the problem consitant for the dealer to find it and say ok.

As a tech in a dealership we have the same issues, A truck comes in....NFF(no fault found) Its life... Wait until it develops.

good to know they are fixing your clutch for free.

Also why are you referring to 4g miles? do you really have 4,000,000 (million) miles on your car, or do you have 4000 miles?

(kilo (k) = x 10^3) (giga (G) = x 10^6)

G is short for "grand" to some folks. It's slang that hasn't died yet.

hmm..mine's kinda doing that too with only about 2000 miles on it.

Going from 1st to 2nd sometimes grinds a tiny bit but doesn't happen all the time.

Another thing I've noticed is going from rev to 1st sometimes produces a bit of a grind if i'm not fully stopped. Didn't think that was a problem with manuals.
