Greddy Ti-C Exhaust

Anyone have experience with this system?

Besides the whole melted bumper issue. Needing to buy the CF heat shield.

I'm slightly aware of the current Magnaflow axle-back exhaust from RRM and it's hp/tq gains/losses, the drop in TQ mostly.and was wondering if the Greddy has notable differences. As I've seen the Magnaflow at my local dealership and noticed that it is simply an ordinary Magnaflow muffler with a few very solidly welded bends and some black paint with a chrome tip. Very well built I might add. I think my Dad bought two similar mufflers like this a few years back for his F-150.

Would there be a slight difference with axle-back to cat-back exhaust that actually shows a bigger difference in HP/TQ gains? I'm asking for Dyno results here. I can assume that it would be lighter at the least and have a more "tuned" appearance.

I would very much prefer this system over the axle-back Magnaflow exhaust setup and stick on the bumper heat shield.

Any online sellers for this system besides eBay?

Anything, even a link to more information as I'm sure others will be interested.

Just curios if you know... Do you need a CF heat shield on all aftermarket exhausts? I was looking at getting the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust...

To tell you the truth I have the RRM and it deff made a Diffrance, Im not a fan of loud exhaust but to each its own. I have not had any problems with my bumper melting wit hteh RRM, I know that it sure dose get hot but not melting. the CF sheild from RRM will protect it some but them the shield itself will take the hit becasue its not ment to be a heat sheild its just a comsmetic part.

im having trouble installing the greddy exhaust that came today. there is a rubber mount to the right of the giant muffler (facing the back of the car) that doesnt have a screw on it so i can take it of with eas. my friend said to just saw it, off, which is what ill end up doing if i dont get any better ideas. the dirrections say nothing about how to take the minority rubber stopper off. since all the other ones are screw on ones.

HELP other wise.. it will just sit there, hanging off my car, lol. ty

DON'T Cut it off! You'll need all of them to hang the Ti-C (unless you already bought new ones). Use some WD-40 to grease the rubber mount, then just wrestle it off the hanger.

it is installed! im not sure if it is the newer version of it, but they claimed it was. so ill just wait and see... i pray it is =P but if its not. im getting heat resistant tape from the the auto shop. put it on the top bit of the tip and stuff.. weird smell first few drives with it. but i assume its just metal burning off the inside? its closer to the bumber then id like aswell. but im gonna see if i can adjust it later tomorow morning. ill let it cool off from all the driven today.

looks sick with tinted tail lights by the way

does anyone know how to find the difference between v1 and v2? i got mine yesterday, installed it, and i got that bracket that was included...
wasn't entirely sure how to mount it on, but had it on, took it for a drive (when i'd left it was about 3/4" from the bumper) and after about 2 miles of driving, i looked at it, and it was already melting the paint and turning my bumper black...

the rubber mount and the bracke (i thought) were bolted together too loosely, so i tightened that, and on the way to work it was okay most of the way, but now its back up there after a few bumps.

any ideas?
