Lightbulb Auto Lancer Owners Enter Here

Alright heres the deal Auto Lancer owners. I am currently in talks with Level 10. They are a company that specifically upgade Automatic Tranmissions and Torque Converters. I am trying to get a group buy here started in order to get a nice discount. In talks with John from Level 10. He stated that upgrading our current Torque Converters can significantly help us out performance wise. They will help smooth out the TC's flat spots and help the car shift quicker. The gains will be .25 to 1 second off of a 1/4 mile time. Their website is levelten.com for whomever would like to further read up on this and other products. Soo far, I have dropped their current upgrade price from $498 to $400 per TC as long as we at least have 5 interested propects. I am trying to get this price even lower to at least $375 per Torque Converter. I will be driving my Lancer down to test the product out myself. I will run a before and after of a 1/4 time to see the results. Im trying to find out how many people would be interested in this upgrade... So please list your name if you are.... So that I may pressure the company to lower the price even more by giving him a rough estimate of interested peoples.

So Far,

1. Xtremeevo
2. uranium9v
3. Guru_Del
4. lancer84
5. LaNceRiTiZ
6. phatgdog69
7. 4Gaijin63
8. BNHrvat
9. TURBOit

I'm in. Is it an exchange program or does he have some cores already ready? There will be quite a bit of money involved in the Installation and removal correct?

Yeah, youd have to send your TC to them and they will ship back. Dont know how much to remove/install. Im having them do mines themselves. They want to charge me $200 for removing and installation on top of the upgrade. Hopefully I will talk them down a bit.

i believe its a core upgrade, they take apart the core you send, add new parts instead and send it back out to you... you will probably lose your car for a few days

Hey lets all try to find a tq converter to use as a core swap so we dont have to be out on our asses. I will call around and see if I can source one for us.

Oh yeah and i am going to recommend right now we start looking for a group buy on tranny fluid coolers. With the higher stall speed the fluid will heat up alot higher and for the sake of keeping our trannies happy lets look into tranny coolers, after all they are only like 100 bux or so. and we could mount them where an intercooler would go and look all bad *** and ****.

I dont think that you'll find someone that does a core swap on the Torque Converters Guru. If you do im all for it. But who would buy 10 or 20 torqure converters to do this. Too much money. I agree on the Transmission Cooler. I got one for $45 from a local speed shop here. Forgot the name and dimensions and name brand of it. Will post tommorow with this info though.

I am prolly just going to get 1 extra and then I can send that in, swap mine out and send that in for someone else then on down the line, so they would not have to have 5 or more just 1 extra and ship that one out then get the stock on in exchange.

Let me know what the cooler you got it. I am gonna get one once i go turbo.

I havent installed mines yet. Getting the Header, Downpipe, Intake Manifold, and the Hot side of the Turbine Ceramic Thermal Coated before install. That should keep the engine Bay a lot cooler. And Im also doing a custom Intercool setup. Still gotta buy the intercooler from RRM. I also need the CF Gauge Holders (RRM Pillars and RMR Steering Wheel CF Gauge Holder). Everything else I already have.

If we can find a core we can send one around until everyone gets theirs finished.....that way we can still drive our cars instead of leaving them parked in a shady transmission shop lot. EVERYONE, keep your eyes open for one. Does level 10 recommend the additional tranny cooler?
