Help out good old uncle marc
OK heres the thing:
i turn on my car and it revs to 1500-2000 (due to broken airbox) then i start driving ad everything is good until i change gears into 2nd and at that point it jumps like crazy no matter how good of a shift it was. then i go to 3rd and now i have to turn right on a green so i try to put it in 2nd, but it wont let me.. usually i can get it in at 15mph, but now i have to slow down to about 5mph before itll go in and with 1st gear i have to come to a complete stop. im taking it to the dealer on friday but they dont know what the problem is so to save me time help out. btw this happens throughout all the gears especially lower ones.
soooo what can you do for me?
Edit: i asked a few friends and the answer i got were:
Check tranny fluid
It could be the sync

Sounds like you fux0r3d a synchro. You can't downshift from 5th to 4th or anything like that?
First was never synchronized though. You can downshift into it, but you have to be low in the revs and going slowly.

yea exactly, usually if im coming to a light i immediately go from 4th to third and it usually goes, but now i cant do that. i like to put the shifter into gear but keep the clutch down while coming to a stop and its a lot harder now. so its a synchro then huh? can mitsubishi fix that in 1 day?
If you're braking in gear with the clutch pedal depressed you may as well do it in neutral so that you're not wearing out the spring plate (can't think of the proper name for it atm) in your clutch. You may wanna give the "Do you downshift while coming to a stop" thread for more reasons.

i figured out the problem, its the syncros because i can shift without touching the clutch when the car is off. it goes into every gear perfectly like the clutch is pressed without it even be down or the car on. im just gonna let the dealer deal with it
