I have no idea if it is even possible to accomplish this, I figure that it would be (in theory) since the new Lancer SE comes AWD with a CVT tranny and share the same chassis, motor, and set up...but I wanted to know if there was any hardcore tech guys that could help me in the research to take out the RWD set up from the SE or Ralliart and mate it up to a 5-speed FWD to get a Lancer that is not automatic AWD?!?

 

easiest way sell the car and buy an evo. Much easier and probably cheaper.

Sounds like a fantastic idea, but I don't think I can afford to trade my car in, get 6500 for it (if that), have no down payment, and afford a 35000 GSR.
Would be nice, but school loan repayment won't let me do that for about 10 years.
