Hi folks, i'm new here and 1st time with Mitsubishi !
I've been looking a lot for harder motor and transmission mounts for my 2010 Lancer (2.0L N/A)... looks like there is only options for Evo's. Do they fit ? Or there's nothing for base Lancers ??
This post may be out of the blue but if anybody is needing a front torque mount for 2.0 N/A as described here, I dont have an easy solution but it is certainly a fun one. (IMHO)
I modeled bushing halves for the front and it has worked for me for a couple thousand miles and still holding strong, they were 3D printed out of TPU 95A but with a infill less than 100 so that it still has a bit of give.
I took the original mount and seperated it from the mount housing and then removed the inner sleeve from the old bushing and cleaned it up with a wire wheel and used it in the new bushing halves, they were press fit into the sleeve and installed no problem, so if you want the model I can dig it out but this may be an endeavor if you are not familiar with 3D printing. Eventually Id like to model the rest.
P.S. FreeCAD kinda works now for hobbyists
here’s the engine mount installed where you can see the heat from the engine side of the mount turning it yellow whereas on the frame side it’s still orange this is the assembled engine mount itself with the sleeve and the housing you can see how the filament is color changing the parts in yellow where I touched
