ive just recently thought about this....what would you change in your gear ratios?...how mcuh do you guys think this will cost?

It all depends on what you want your car to do. By Shortining your gears you will be able to acellerate through them quicker I'd leave first gear the stock length) but you will loose top speed. By making them longer you will get more top speed but you will loose the "get up and go" or "holeshot". So its a balance of what you want. The Us Lancer is geared quite well for its best racing purpose (auto-X and Rally's) while a Civic Si has shorter gears that help it excelerate faster. Since a civic can rev at higher RPM's without loosing power (V-tech) they can keep the same top speed with shorter gears. This is why civic's (Si) are quick of the line for their lack of tourque.
