Sealing exhaust gaskets.

I bought new OEM exhaust gaskets from my Mitsu dealer, and they sent them to my house.

Is there some kind of sealant or seal that you put onto the gasket. I have heard about a copper exhaust gasket sealant that's kinda like a "goop" or liquid. I've also heard of something call "gasket goop" ... has anyone used this stuff to reseal their exhaust gaskets (head to header, header to downpipe)?

I've heard of Gaskacinch or something like that as well. I think that as long as you put it on carefully and make sure nothing moves during install, all will be fine. But if you seal the gasket in place, I can't see it hurting anything.

Just install them. get them on there and torqued correctly and you'll have no problems

I see you have the RRM header. If you keep blowing out the collector gasket (2 bolt), then there is a possibility the flange is warped. I had to take mine to a machine shop to fix it. I think the flange gets warped from welding.
