I just got my DEPO cf tails in and when I installed them, the brake lights stay on all the time. I checked and double checked my installation and making sure that they were plugged in tightly. I need some help before I get rearended or something. Anyone who has any advice or a link to a previous thread that can help me resolve this problem asap Please post!!!

hey, I had the same problem, you have to switch the wires on the harness or call RRM and they can send you a new harness, like they did for me.

on a side note, anyone know where I can get a right chrome depo tail light like RRM's? mine is cracked and I don't want to buy both as a replacement.

its going to be hard to just buy one taillight. as you know they're normally sold in pairs. the only thing would be to look in the private/for sale section. if you're lucky someone might be selling what you need.

 

you could always buy my stock ones until you get enough cash to buy some new chrome ones

 

Actually I fixed the problem myself. The problem is in the wiring of the blinker and brake lines. By crossing the two you can easily fix it. I only wanted to do one of them so the tails have the right circle brighter than the one on the left and the one on the left works as my brake light. Next project with them is to make the clear clinker orange to replicate the MR tails.
