yes you should have it checked out!!! and IMO if you bent the hell out of your rim it will be cheaper to buy another one than to get that one fixed. keep bent one as a spare or somthing!!

sounds exactly like what happened to me.....i hit a curb a while back too and bent my rim....and my wheel was pushed back.....got it checked out and it ended up being the control arm that was bent....got it fixed for about $300.....hope that helps

FIRST REACTION: whoa ****... that looks bad

EDIT: You should get that checked out... dont be driving around like that. At least be thankful there was no body (cosmetic) damage to the fender or the ground effects or the bumper)

yeah that looks like you bent the control arm you might have to get that replaced and then aligned!! Sorry about the hit! Hope it doesn't cost you much to fix and i hope everything works out!!

Right when it happend i was REALLY worried about the front bumper but then when i went out to check the fu**ing rim was bent and the tire was like pulled back closer to the back fender.

Just a ballpark price... $500 (thats just the control arm and allignment, I dunno how much fixing or even replacing that rim might cost). Bummer dood... I feel ur pain

how fast did u hit the curb? and was it at an angle or straight onto the curb? My friend has a 2001 eclipse, and he took a left turn to quick in the snow, and hit the curb at around 25 to 30 mph at probably 45 degree angle, and ****ed up his axle. His total cost from the Mitsubishi dealer was $1,100.

A friend of mine hit the curb in his Focus at about 20mph:
His axle bent and his lower control arm was broken AND his airbags went off, braking the windshield
It cost him more $ to fix than the car is worth...
