How hard to change 02 sensors and where are they

Well from my other thread I have stated that I have had a loss in my gas mileage after putting on my new one. I went and had it checked out and no exhaust leak at all. Someone in the other post say it could be my o2 sensors. Could these have gone out after a year or could the exhaust have done that.

Thanks in advance.

Unplug it, turn it to the left. Turn the new one to the right, plug it in. Possible, but unlikely that it failed. You'd have a CEL.
