Need to find Light ECU
^^ If thats the case, then its probably a fuse somewhere. I had a similar problem earlier this week. None of the locks, windows, dome, clock or radio worked unless key was in the "on" position. Turned out to be a blown fuse in the engine fuse box.
yes if i touch a wire from the battery to a turn signal they work they dont work at all now. I have gone to a few people and thy say everything works up to the light ecu and they need to find it to check it.

There are two possible explanations.
1) The mechanics have no idea what they are talking about
2) You misunderstood them.
Take it somewhere else (like the dealership) and get another opinion. If they also say they need to find the light ECU, then we have all been left in the dark, they forgot to add that part to the service manual and no one on these boards can help you.

YOU'RE SEARCHING FOR SANTA CLAUS. You will NEVER find a light ECU because no such thing exists. Whoever told you that clearly has no experience with Lancer electrical. I'm electrically retarded and I know better.
This is the funniest and retarded thing i've ever heared of. Light ECU.........Theres no such thing and the man still doesnt get it.
I bet if he took the car to the dearler and told them to find it, they would probably laugh. Then they would tell him that theres no such thing and he still wouldnt get it.
