guys i just bought some white bulbs to replace those nasty yellow ones, the hazard lights. well anyways i cant seem to get em out, does anyone out there got any tricks or advice> the hole is just too small to get a good grip on them. possibly some tool to get them out? anything would be helpful thanks a lot guys.

 

Unscrew and remove the headlight housing and the taillight housing... that way u can easily reach the bulbs and change em. No nasty scratches on ur hand and no need for those tiny flashlights to see what ur doing

 

I changed out all mine a while ago, and the front ones were kinda hard for me too since I have big hands.. I think on the passenger side of the car theres the one brown plug above the light housing to the left (when facing the engine bay) that I removed that gave me a little more room on that side.. as for the battery side, I just squeezed my bigass hand in there and I think I turned it with like the tips of 2 fingers since I couldn't get a good grip...
I would think if anything, if you have a pair of needle nose pliers that have a slight bend in them (I believe they make a pair like that) you might be able to start the initial twist to unlock, but you might still have to reach in there with your fingers to grab it to bring it out of the hole.

 

Use needlenose pliers or a girl with small hands to get to those bulbs. I managed to slice and dice my hands pretty good while swapping mine out, and I don't have the meatiest hands in the world.

 

I agree with ghostrider. Get yourself either a girl or a small asian (j/k) to do it for you. I personally scratched the **** out of my hands while trying to change mines.

 

hehe i got my girlfriend who happens to be a small asian but i dont really like the color of these bulbs... they are like a off white, they are the sylvania replacement bulbs 194, and with my silverstars it looks quite odd any ideas for diff bulbs that may look my hyper/super white?

 

He is talking about his sidemarker lights, he wants them to match the headlights

 

go with some white LED 194 size bulbs, those should match more closely

 

thanks guys found some LEDs that will fit... they are like 9.99 which makes it 15$ shipping... im not forsure if i want pay that for some lil bulbs, but i probably will lol. thanks for ya help, if u want the link say so and ill post it up when i get home.

 

Dude they last for like 10 years, so $9.99 aint bad. I bought some 194 LEDs at autozone for 7.99 (i think) check around town before you order out and have to pay shipping on a 1/2 ounce package.

 

LOL the guys at work told me for things like this to have a small child LOL attach him to an engine jack an hoist him over the engine bay they got the smallest hands HAHAHA

 

haha, i had to have my little sister get the bulbs out for me, i couldnt get my hands in there.

 

If you remove the headlight bulb and its associated connector and ring thingy that holds it in there is enough room to get your hands in there to get the parking lights. I am an average white adult male (5'11" 170) and I can fit my hand in so unless you are Andre the Giant you must be doing something wrong or not trying hard enough.

 

are you worried about cops? they are hardcore ticket writers around here (mid-west Fl) check my pics you'll notice I've changed my signal bulbs to yellow (they don't specify what shade) and I've replaced rear signals w/red leds. they all turned out wonderful

 

what? is hyperwhite on turns illegal? I thought they were ok as long as they were either white, yellow/orange, or red
