So after reading all the posts about paint issues, especially on the yellow lancers, i decided to check out my car today. I've had the car for about a month now, and theres at least 10 or more rock chips on the bumper and hood that go all the way through the paint. I called my dealer immediately and casually like it was nothing, he said "Drop it off and we'll put a fresh coat on the front end." Are the dealers finally starting to realize this is a problem and aren't really fighting it, or do I just have a good dealer?

 

OZ_03, sounds like you got a cool dealer. I'm having the same problem, I'll have to try that and see if the dealer here will do the same.
