Question MAS Adapter Plate

Anyone know a site/store that sells MAS Adapter plates for the '02 OZ Lancer?

Or how to make my own @_@. I saw that thread with the home made SR but I have no idea how he made his MAS Adapter with those parts. The instructions were a bit confusing to me.

Thanks in advance, FIRST POST ^_^

All Mitsu MAFs have the same rectangular bolt pattern.

Cool purecoda. Thanks.

Just to double check tho, its the Vibrant MAF adapter thing, part #1995 right?

http://www.vibrantperformance.com/im..._Page28-32.pdf

Scroll down to the middle of the fourth page in that PDF file and there are the MAF adapters and the 1995 is the one. Just need someone to verify that it is the same as the MAF adapters you get with the intake kits and that it will work. Ive only got $16, uberbroke haha

question

Hey all, gotta get me an intake to go with my axle back exhaust, now i've been seeing those plastic adapters all over ebay but I found this one for an eclipse. I thought someone had said all the MAS adapters for mitsu's were the same. Check this link out and lemme know if this steel adapter will fit a lancer, thanks.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43946

Also, I would like to get an apexi or K&N filter, anyone know what part # they are and a place i can find a reasonable price on them, thanks as always.

^just to let you know, that adapter is NOT going to fit. the mitsubishi MAS is wider. also not sure if you care or not, but most ebay adapters are for 3inch filters. if you go to a local shop or get a true adapter, they are normally 4.5inch openings for a 4.5inch filter. its all up too you though. hope that helps.

^that's only if the picture in the auction is a true representation. usually sellers use a generic picture for their auctions since they might sell adapters for different cars. ask the seller first. technically, an eclipse adapter does fit. all intake adapters for a mitsubishi MAS are interchangable, meaning if it fits on an eclipse, it'll fit on the lancer, 3000gt, galant, etc...

apexi filters are expensive and not a lot of shops carry it. it would be sweet to get one, but k&n is the standard to get. you can get the cheap kind and it might work, but some drivability problems have been solved by going to a quality filter(read on mirage forums).
