on the way home from work today my sevice engine soon light came on. it did not go i lemp mode. still had power. dont know if i should take it out and take the car in to be checked out. i only have 3020mi on the engine so its not for oil change. someone help out thanks.

 

Might want to talk to RRM.

Also, get the SES code checked (for free at a parts store) and find the direct cause.

 

RRM should be the first place you contact about this, if you dont feel any diff in driveability it was probably a freak thing but should def be checked out to see what code it is and go from there with RRM's help

I hope all is well when you clear it.

If it ssomething minor, you should be able to reset the battery and make it go away. well if its anything like older cars from a few years ago. Or it may store it to memory possibly?

 

i emailed rob. i will also call tomarrow. i thought about disconecting the battery. but i have not done that yet. thanks
