Curbs SUCK!

Well yesterday I was on my way to work, and was in the process of meeting a family at their home, well to make a long story short I had to make a U turn in a space no larger than a frikin driveway. This was a gated community and as I was making my u turn, a car came and was leaving, so the exit gate opened, so my choice was limited to:

A) Suffer damage to the side of my car

B) Drive off

I made the choice to drive off, I thought I would either drive on top of the curb, or make it, instead I heard grinding.......and I pulled into a walgreens parking lot, and this is what I found

The side of the lip from my rim was nicely scraped, so now I need to know if anyone knows what I could do to fix this travesty, even though it can only be seen up close, I know it's there, and i want to fix it, any help is welcome......except for, buy a new rim, lol.

Edit: Side note, the rim was very dirty, so any SHINE, is the damage, lol

Ouch, sorry man! That's the kind of damage that just sucks. Good luck getting it patched up.

it may, but the filler should stick okay.

that is amazing work on that rim, too... maybe a project for the summer for me after i clipped a curb last year.

now if only it was that easy to fix BENT rims, hehe.

So I cleaned my rim and everything and with the shine and everything this is what we came out with, looks better, but the scuffs can still be seen slightly
