Angry I found a surprise after the snow and ice have melted!

so after the snow and ice stopped coming down. i decided to clear of the car. you know all that crappy white stuff i wanted off. well in the front i noticed a few white chip marks on my nose and about 10 more under the mitsu emblem.... can i fix these chips myself? if so with what? i need to get it inspected soon so i wonder if the dealership will fix that for me too?

i also noticed theres a small crack in the right lip. ill have to take pictures and post them. I would now, but this damn PA weather wind at 50mph is not welcoming to do so .

Thanks!

Get the touch up, and then have an experienced detailer buff over it, followed by a nice wax.

Take your car back to the dealership that you got your car from.

I can understand the paint getting scratched under the front bumper like that. What with steep driveways, tall parking blocks, and all that... but the paint is flaking off. Paint flaking off a part like that indicates: A) poor prep work and/or B) not enough flex additive in the paint.

Of course, I could be over reacting. I suppose if you hit something hard enough you'll get the paint to flake like that no matter how much flex additive is in the paint.

**EDIT: seeing that you also have cracks on the TOP of the front left lip, I'd venture that you or someone else driving your car hit something or took a driveway too quickly...
