Hey, I know there was a how to guide for the Spark plug replacement on a US lancer. I can't find it anywhere. I need to replace them and would like to see the guide. And yes, I already did a search, actualyl did 2. maybe I missed it.

Yeah, it's real simple. Just be sorta gentle when removing the coil packs and plug wires. They will take a bit of force, but try not to go hulk on them.

after you get the coil paks of you will need a 5/8 plug socket and at least 6" extention to get the plugs out after there out make sure you gap the new plugs corectly the proper gap is in the owners manual then pop them in and do not tighten them to tight

It'd probably be a good idea to put a little anti-sieze on the threading before putting them in. Last thing you want is a spark plug stuck in your engine.

...Ok, maybe not the last thing. But you don't want it.

To encourage what blackmantis said be sure to GAP YOUR PLUGS PROPERLY. I dont know how many people dont bother doing this and they have some plugs at 0.040 some at 0.046, basically they are all over the place and then they wonder why there car runs like crap.

When I put plugs in I put the socket (spark plug socket) on an extention, put some anti-seize on them (like hobie stated) and hand thread them in. then I snug them up with the wrench. Usually the rule of thumb is hand tight with a 1/4 turn but I find even that a bit too much most of the time. I do it by feel so I cant really give you an amount of turn.

I swear to god, if I have time, I'm doing damn write-up.

While I'm convinced that most people asking for it are just too scared to do the easiest thing in the world, I will do it to shut you people up!
