Unhappy Right hand tail light and marker light + no gauge dimmer

NOOB problem here...

I installed some white-faced EL gauges in the IC.

For 2 years they worked great, then suddenly they began to flicker, along with my left-side tail light.

I pulled down the rocker panel and re-soldered everything (power for EL gauges into some wire that goes live with the marker lights, ground to that grounding bolt behind the fuse box), and now it works fine but...

Now my right-side marker light and tail light don't come on at all (brake lights are OK), and the dimmer knob for the gauges/HVAC/dials doesn't so anything.

Disconnecting the EL gauges doesn't fix it, so it's not them.

Sounds a lot like a short to me, but I don't know dave from sam when it comes to all those multi-colored wires down there. Cursory inspection shows no wires crossed, popped out, etc.

Is the a fuse for the right-side lights only?

I wonder which wire is common to the dials and right marker lights...

Thanks guys, sorry for breaking the car then asking y'all how to fix it.

UPDATE:
The lights for the HVAC and Shifter are out too, and the clock doesn't *know* the lights are on (it doesn't dim with the headlights).
Any ideas?
