Hi guys. I have an 03 OZ Rally. Recently I noticed the engine fan comes on right away when I start the card even when its cold. (Southern California cold). Then after driving a short distance, not enough to even warm it up all the way, I shut the ignition off, and the fan stays on for another 30 seconds or so.

I'm guessing a thermostat or sensor may be bad, but I'm not sure where to start looking. Anyone have any suggestions?

There was a recall for the fan controller a while back...try that first! Free @ the dealership.

 

^ True, I had mine replaced because it was free at the dealership.

 

Just an update: I took the car to the dealer and the new fan controller solved the problem.
